It’s a surprise [Edward] Norton and [Wes] Anderson have never worked together before, they are of the same era and rose to prominence at roughly the same time. ‘We were making Fight Club when Bottle Rocket came out,’ Norton remembers. ‘Brad [Pitt] and I were so obsessed with it that we kept trying to slip references to Bottle Rocket into Fight Club and [David] Fincher kept saying, “I know what that is, stop it!”’
